Peoplelogic, Inc. (“Peoplelogic”) is committed to protecting the privacy of personal information provided in connection with its Peoplelogic.ai web-based service made available at https://peoplelogic.ai.  The term “Service” as used in this Privacy Policy means the Peoplelogic.ai web-based service and all related products, services, web sites, software, technologies, deliverables and tools provided by Peoplelogic.ai in connection with the Peoplelogic.ai service, including consulting and implementation services.

This Privacy Policy provides an overview of Peoplelogic’s practices surrounding collection, disclosure and use of personal information relating to the Service, including prospective users of the Service.  The term “Users” in this Privacy Policy refers to both registered users of the Service, as well as to visitors to our web site who have not yet registered for the Service.

Information Collected
Users will be required to provide their name, organization name, and e-mail address, and may also be requested to provide other data, when requesting information about the Service, and when registering and using the Service.

Peoplelogic may also require Users to provide credit card and other payment information for use with the Service.

Users will specify in the Service which employees will be managed through the Service, by supplying the employees’ names, titles, and email addresses.

As part of the Service, Peoplelogic gathers and analyzes information about employees’ use of software provided by their employer, such as Office 365/Microsoft 365 (“Employee Usage Data”).  This Employee Usage Data is gathered with the permission of and on behalf of the employer, who is Peoplelogic’s customer.  Peoplelogic uses published API’s associated with its customers’ licensed software to connect to such software and obtain Employee Usage Data. Peoplelogic may receive personal information from individuals who email or call Peoplelogic for business purposes, such as for information about the Service, or for technical support, or in support of contracts and operations associated with Peoplelogic.

Peoplelogic may use data enrichment services to augment the personal information of Users who express an interest in using the Service.  This additional information may include company information, job title, and links to your social profiles.

Cookies, Tracking Technologies, and Analytics Tools
Peoplelogic uses cookies to store information about Users, such as viewing preferences and login information. A cookie is a data file that a web site writes to your computer when you visit or use the Service. The Service may not be fully functional unless you accept use of Internet cookies.  This information is used to identify who you are when you make a request to the Service. If you allow your browser to accept cookies when using the Service, a cookie is set and trusted when you return to the Service after visiting an external site.

We also may use pixel tags, web beacons and other similar technologies to improve our understanding of site traffic, visitor behavior, and response to promotional campaigns, as a supplement to our server logs and other methods of traffic and response measurement. Pixel tags are sometimes used in conjunction with small Javascript-based applications, which are also for the purpose of traffic measurement. We may also implement pixel tags provided by other companies, for the same purpose. The information we obtain in this manner enables us to customize the Service and to measure the overall effectiveness of the Service and associated web site and web activities.

Peoplelogic gathers information about Users collectively and logs IP addresses, session sources, and other data that track access to the Service. We analyze these logs to better understand aggregate behavior and to monitor performance of our Service. The logs are analyzed to ascertain the overall aggregate trends they reveal about our Users, but not as a means of tracking the behavior of individual users outside our Service. This information is used for the purposes of maintaining and improving the Service.Our website uses Google Analytics, a service which transmits website traffic data to Google servers.  Google Analytics does not identify individual users or associate your IP address with any other data held by Google.  We use reports provided by Google Analytics to help us understand website traffic and usage.

Use and Disclosure of Collected InformationWe do not sell, rent, use or share your personal information with others except as set forth in this Privacy Policy.

Peoplelogic may use personal information, including Employee Usage Data, to provide the Service.  Employee Usage Data is disclosed to the employees’ organization and its managers as part of the Service. In addition, Peoplelogic may use your personal information to:

inform you of Service issues
communicate to you about information you have requested
alert you of new Service features and enhancements, or other services and products
enhance and test our products and services, including the Service
support and maintain the Service, and

If you are our main contact for a customer account or have indicated that you wish to get further information about our Service, we may notify you of upgrade opportunities, promotions, and special offers. Employee Usage Data and other personal information is not used for this purpose.

You agree that we may communicate with you via email and similar technologies for any purpose relating to the Service.

We take diligent efforts to not divulge your information to unauthorized individuals, and to limit access to your information to authorized persons.

Peoplelogic may use aggregate and/or de-identified information to determine the demographics of our Users and to use and distribute statistics and general information about the Service. These demographics will always represent aggregate and/or anonymized information and will not identify a specific individual.

Peoplelogic may also disclose and use personal information:when we have your permission to do so; to companies who work for Peoplelogic to provide one or more parts of the Service or that provide related administrative functions (such as support services and web analytics).  These third parties may have access to your personal information; if they do, this access is only so that they may perform these tasks on our behalf, and they are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose; and

when we believe in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to (1) comply with a legal process or law, or to respond to a subpoena, court order, or government request for information, (2) enforce our Terms of Service or other agreements, (3) respond to claims that any content on the Service violates the rights of third parties, or that otherwise arise from your use of the Service, or (4) protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Peoplelogic, its users, or the public.

Additionally, Peoplelogic’s use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google Workspace APIs are not used to develop, improve, or train generalized/non-personalized AI and/or ML models.

Retention of Personal Information
We will retain your personal information for the period of time necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.  The retention period may vary depending on the nature of the personal information and the purpose for which we collected and process the personal information.For information on how to request deletion of your personal information, please see our Support Center.

Security Measures
We have implemented reasonable security measures to help protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the personal information under our control, and regularly undertake security testing using standard testing tools for our Service.   We take reasonable measures to maintain the integrity of information in the Service. Additionally, we take reasonable steps to ensure that our third-party business partners, including our hosting partners, provide appropriate protection for personal information.  We will promptly make any legally required disclosures of any breach of the security, confidentiality, or integrity of your unencrypted electronically stored personal data.

You acknowledge that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, and that we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you have any questions about the security of our Service, you may contact us.

Children
Peoplelogic does not knowingly allow persons under the age of eighteen (18) to sign up for the Service or to otherwise disclose any of their personal information to us.   If you are under 18 years old, please do not use or access our Service.  Users should not process employee information through our Service of employees under the age of 18.

If we become aware that we are processing Personal Information about a person under the age of 18,  we may delete such information from our records and we may deactivate the related account.

Opt-Out
You may opt-out of receiving certain marketing communications from us, by emailing us at [email protected].  In addition, all marketing e-mails from Peoplelogic will provide you with the opportunity to unsubscribe from future marketing mailings.  Even if you opt out of such mailings, however, we reserve the right to send you e-mail and other communications to disclose maintenance and other Service-related issues.

Access to Account
If you are a registered User of the Service, you can change your User information through the User profile component of the Service, if available, or otherwise by emailing us at [email protected].  You may need to supply certain information so that we can try to verify that you have authority to modify this information.

Third-Party Sites and Services
The Service may contain links and other connections  to other web sites, services or internet information. We have no responsibility for the privacy practices of other web sites and services, including the web sites and services of our advertisers or our business partners.

The fact that we may link to a web site or present an advertisement is not an endorsement, authorization or representation of our affiliation with that third party, nor is it an endorsement of their privacy or information security policies or practices. We do not exercise control over any third-party web site or service. Other web sites or services may place their own cookies or other files on your computer, collect data or solicit personal information from you. We encourage you to read the privacy policies or statements of other web sites and services associated with the Service.

Sale of Company; Bankruptcy
If we sell our company or otherwise transfer substantially all of our assets related to the Service, we may disclose your personal information in connection with such sale or transfer. In that event, we will use diligent efforts to require the acquiring party to honor our then-current Privacy Policy, until the acquiring party provides you with notice of changes to the Privacy Policy.

In the unlikely event of our bankruptcy, insolvency, reorganization, receivership, or assignment for the benefit of creditors, or the application of laws or equitable principles affecting creditors’ rights generally, we may not be able to control how personal information is treated, transferred, or used.

Legal Requirements
We intend to protect your privacy to the fullest extent possible as described in this policy while also fulfilling our responsibility to uphold all applicable laws and regulations. Due to potential legal requirements and other possible circumstances, we cannot ensure that all your personal information will never be disclosed or accessed in ways not otherwise described in this policy. We may be compelled under law to disclose information to government or third parties under certain circumstances or third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications. Further, we can, and you hereby authorize us to, disclose any information to law enforcement or other government officials that we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate in compliance with the law and/or government requests.

United States
Our core Service is hosted in the United States. If you are accessing the Service from outside the United States, please be advised that through your continued use of the Service, which is governed by United States law and this Privacy Policy, you are transferring your personal information to the United States and you consent to that transfer.  The United States may not have the same data protection laws as your country.

Changes
Peoplelogic will post any changes to this Privacy Policy on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such posting constitutes your agreement to this Privacy Policy and any future revisions.
