Peoplelogic Employee Spotlight: Meet Jorge!

Peoplelogic Employee Spotlight: Meet Jorge!

Here at Peoplelogic, we love to recognize our employees and celebrate their achievements! That’s why we've created a new monthly Employee Spotlight where we can highlight each team member in personal interviews.

Post-pandemic, in the spring of ‘22, our small startup began to scale. And with this newfound growth, new opportunities began to open. Our C-suite knew for us to be successful as a team, we would need to have the right people in the right roles at the right time. This path, and our commitment to our core values, led us to find strong software engineers like Jorge who have both technical capabilities as well as a love for helping people.

Hailing from Portugal, our tenured team member, Jorge Araujo, has been kicking ass and taking names. At work, Jorge enjoys providing quantitative value to customers and teams. In his free time, you can catch Jorge spending quality time with family or enjoying a night out in Porto with friends.

Interview Q&A:

Ashley: What type of recognition/appreciation do you value most?

Jorge: Definitely quality time.

A: What do you look forward to at work each day?

J: I hope I've managed to deliver some value to Peoplelogic at the end of the day.

A: What’s something that recently made you smile?

J: Meeting my work friends for a fun dinner in Porto.

A: What’s the coolest or most unique story you know?

J: One of the most unique stories I know is about my friend who is blind. When we were young, he would ride a motorbike with me on uncrowded streets. I would tell him the commands and he would execute them on the bike.

A: If time & money were not an issue, what is the #1 thing you would do?

J: Enjoying life traveling the world with my family.

A: If you hosted a talk show, whom would you invite as the first guest and why?

J: I would invite a Brazilian comedian named Rafael Portugal, this guy is very funny.

A: If you could give your past self any advice, what would it be?

J: Study the English language more.

A: What would your superpower be and why?

J: Teleportation because I could be in many places in little time.
